BIRMINGHAM, AL – The Ductile Iron Pipe Research Association (DIPRA) announces that Austin Jones has joined the DIPRA team as a Marketing Communications Associate.

Austin will assist with coordinating marketing projects alongside outside agencies to promote Ductile iron pipe and the DIPRA brand through social media, newsletters, brochures, videos, and other materials. He will help ensure all content aligns with the brand’s voice and supports a positive image focused on sustainability, reliability, and environmental responsibility.

“We’re thrilled to have Austin join DIPRA to augment our Marketing and Communications programs,” said DIPRA President David Cole. “His insights into digital campaigns and his experience with B2B marketing initiatives will strengthen the overall positioning of Ductile iron pipe as the strongest, most resilient pipe available for drinking water systems. DIPRA is proud to support the drinking water sector with science-based research and information to aid water professionals in making the best choice of pipe for their communities. Austin will be integral to our continuing mission.”

Austin will report directly to Brian Hartlove, Vice President of Marketing and Communications. Austin also contributed to social media management, SEO, and the creation of business collateral. At GreenChem Industries, he assisted with B2B marketing efforts, helped maintain brand consistency across digital channels, and developed materials such as brochures and product line cards. These internships reflect Austin’s growing expertise in digital marketing, research, and content development.

Austin graduated from the University of Florida with both a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Marketing and a Master of Science in Marketing. As an undergrad, he minored in Business Administration.
