V-Bio® enhanced polyethylene was invented by John A. Crook and John H. Wilson, Jr., who assigned the patent to Fulton Enterprises, Inc. A patent was issued on May 1, 2001 and was assigned to DIPRA in December 2012. In June 2016 the patent expired.
